Data Deletion Policy for Global Dating Chat
Account Deletion Process
Users can request complete deletion of their account and associated data through the following methods:
Method 1: In-App Deletion
- Open the Global Dating Chat app
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion request
Method 2: Email Request
Send an email to privacy@globaldatingchat.com with:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address
- Reason for deletion (optional)
What Gets Deleted
Upon account deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Your profile information (name, photos, bio)
- All messages sent and received
- Posts and interactions (likes, comments)
- Account preferences and settings
- Authentication data
Third-Party Data
Note: Data collected by advertising partners (Google AdMob) is governed by their respective privacy policies. To delete advertising data:
- Visit Google Ad Settings to manage your advertising profile
- Reset your Advertising ID in device settings
- Contact advertising partners directly for complete data removal
Data Deletion Timeline
- Immediate: Account becomes inaccessible
- Within 7 days: Profile removed from all user searches
- Within 30 days: Complete data purging from all systems
- Backup systems: Cleared within 90 days
Data That May Be Retained
For legal and safety reasons, we may retain:
- Reports of violations or abuse (anonymized)
- Transaction records (if applicable)
- Data required by law enforcement or legal proceedings
- Aggregated analytics data (non-personally identifiable)
Advertising Data: Data collected by Google AdMob and other advertising partners is subject to their retention policies and must be deleted through their respective systems.
Confirmation
You will receive email confirmation when:
- Deletion request is received
- Account deactivation is complete
- Final data purging is finished
This policy ensures compliance with GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure) and Google Play Store data deletion requirements.
